KINTSUGI is an experimental documentary, narrative hybrid short film that focuses on the poetic kintsugi Japanese pottery art, showing step-by-step instruction on how the process is done. However, the piece also contains clips from world history and entertainment, becoming an allegory for real life events.
Following the completion of "KINTSUGI," the short has won the "Best Experimental" award at the University of Tampa's Black Box Film Festival in Fall 2020, and was selected to be in Lift Off Global Network's First-Time Filmmaker Sessions Film Festival.
